OMEGA ARCANE (2013)
Escuchar Omega Arcane de los finlandeses Shade Empire es apostar a caballo ganador, desde su más tempranos trabajos y sobre todo en su última época han sabido captar la atención de sus oyentes a base de temas directos a la yugular y una producción soberbia que enfatiza las partes más orquestales de su propuesta. Conscientes de la repercusión que podrían alcanzar con este cuarta larga duración tras sus más que destacables anteriores tres álbumes, han contado con la producción de Mikko P. Mustonen, que sobre todo ha aportado equilibrio en sus música entre las partes más duras y otras más suaves y limpias, pero lo que más destaca es el excelso trabajo de orquestaciones con el que cuenta "Omega Arcane". Su propuesta musical tampoco es algo que no se haya hecho antes, temas directos y melódicos que juegan con la combinación entre un death de sonido actual y un black moderno, al cual se le suma bastante aspectos de melodía y orquestación con orientación industrial. Su música es tremendamente sinfónica, pero sería también muy injusto encasillarlos como black sifónico, su propuesta va mucho más lejos al incorporar con acierto diferentes estilos a su propuesta. Queda claro que su música no encandilará a puristas del género pero bien es cierto que han logrado una interesante mezcla entre death, black y sinfonía con ciertos toque electrónicos y épicos. (8.2).
